Job Advert Summary

To perform driving duties in the Electrical section ensuring that staff and equipments are transported safely to different destinations in and out of the station, collect and deliver items to and from external suppliers as well as maintain vehicles clean and in roadworthy  condition.

 

 

Minimum Requirements  

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
• 3years relevant driving experience
• Valid code EB drivers license with ability to pass Rand waters K53 test
• Must be in possession of Public Drivers Permit

 

 

Primary Duties      

• To collect and deliver items/equipment’s safely.
• Ensure that petty cash is used for what is required.
• When transporting staff, ensure that staff arrive on time.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good working condition at all times. Defects/incidents must be reported immediately.

 

 

Knowledge 

• Knowledge of OHS Act.
• Communication skills (Verbal and written)
• Knowledge of road traffic rules.
