SASSA Grant Administrator helping a client with social grant application process
The (SASSA) invites interested and suitably qualified applicants to apply for Grant Administrator vacancies available across various local offices in the Gauteng Region. These positions form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery within the social assistance system by ensuring efficient processing of grant applications, accurate beneficiary administration, and improved access to services for qualifying members of the public.
Successful candidates will be responsible for providing frontline grant administration support, including screening and capturing applications, maintaining beneficiary records, coordinating medical assessment bookings, assisting with outreach services where required, and managing document scanning and batching processes. These roles offer an opportunity to contribute to public service delivery within a structured government environment while supporting programmes that assist vulnerable individuals and households across communities.

Successful candidates will:
Provide grant customer service support
Screen and capture grant applications
Maintain beneficiary records
Administer medical bookings and assessments
Provide off-site grant services where required
Scan and batch grant files
Support administrative operations within local offices
