ACDC DYNAMICS IS HIRING A CASHIER

The cashier will ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. The cashier will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the checkout area, handling payments, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting the company’s range of products

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Collect payments via cash or credit.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
• Redeem stamps and coupons.
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones to customers.
• Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and relevant information.

 

 

• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
• Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages.
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed.

Requirements:

• Matric/ Grade 12 (NSC)
• A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience
