The Cleaner – ATM Services is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and basic upkeep at Automated Teller Machine (ATM) facilities for a banking client. This includes cleaning ATM exteriors as well as internal ATM rooms, ensuring that all sites remain clean, hygienic, safe, and presentable at all times.
This role requires a high level of trust and professionalism, as work is performed in secure and sensitive environments. The successful candidate will work according to set schedules and travel between multiple sites where required.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Clean and sanitise ATM machines, ATM rooms, and surrounding areas according to schedule
Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation
Inspect ATM areas for signs of vandalism, damage, or skimming devices and report concerns
Perform basic maintenance tasks and identify issues requiring further attention
Follow strict security, access, and safety procedures at all times
Complete job checklists and reports using a smartphone or mobile application
Travel between ATM sites to meet operational cleaning requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
2–3 years’ cleaning experience, preferably in commercial or secure environments
Experience working in banking, retail, or security-sensitive locations
Basic maintenance knowledge and the ability to report faults
Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and machinery, with emphasis on safety
Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
Technologically literate and able to use mobile devices for reporting
High level of integrity, honesty, and reliability
Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
Willingness to work early mornings or after hours if required
