B consult SETA Funded Learnerships

Bconsult is a SETA funded skills-development and learnership training provider in South Africa that offers a variety of accredited learnerships and training programmes for learners and employers.

Where Bconsult Learnerships Are Hosted

1. Training Locations
Bconsult has physical training locations in:

  • Durban (KwaZulu-Natal)

  • Johannesburg (Gauteng)

At these campuses learners can attend classroom and practical training as part of their learnership programmes.

Typical Entry Requirements

Bconsult learnerships require at least Grade 10- 12 (Matric). That’s what several 2025/2026 learnership listings show for general eligibility, especially SETA-funded programmes:

  • South African citizenship

  • Age 18–35

  • Matric (Grade 10 – 12) qualification

  • Unemployed

  • Full-time commitment to the programme

How the Learnerships Are Delivered

Bconsult offers learnerships in several ways:

On-site classroom and practical training at their Durban and Johannesburg facilities
Blended training — combining workplace experience with theory
Hosted workplace experience where learners are placed with host companies that provide practical, on-the-job training while Bconsult administers the programme and reporting.

Hosts provide mentorship and supervise learners in real work environments as required by the learnership standard.

Coverage

Even though the campuses are in Durban and Johannesburg, Bconsult’s programmes are offered nationwide through:

  • Online components

  • Host placements with companies across SA

  • E-learning access for theoretical parts of courses

This means you don’t have to be in Durban or Johannesburg full-time to participate — but placements or host assignments may be arranged in other regions.

Learnership Types Bconsult Offers

They run a range of learnerships and related programmes, including (among others):

  • Contact Centre Support and Contact Centre Manager (various NQF levels)

  • ICT / End-User Computing

  • Occupational Certificates (e.g., Computer Technician)

  • Hospitality / Food & Beverage Services

  • Travel and Tourism

  • Business Administration and Management
Many programmes combine theory with workplace experience.
