Distribution Learnership Programme – Corruseal Group



Corruseal Group invites suitably interested candidates to apply for the Distribution Learnership Programme based at Corruseal Gauteng. The learnership runs for 12 months and offers structured practical training in operating material-handling equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks, along with exposure to core stock-management activities. The programme aims to equip learners with the necessary skills to support efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and loading raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

Corruseal Group invites applications from individuals committed to completing all required learning modules, workplace activities, and competency assessments. The role includes hands-on responsibilities such as scanning and capturing stock, feeding production machinery, conducting quality checks, and assisting with cycle counts. Safe operation of equipment in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act is essential. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Participants in this Learnership program will be learning how to operate material handling equipment (forklift and clamp trucks) to move, locate, relocate, stack, and load raw material and stock as required. Will also be required to participate in relevant stock management activities to ensure efficient operations and stock accuracy.

This learnership will run for 12 months and all learners will be expected to accomplish all learning and work activities as required (declaration of competency).

REPORTING TO: DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

 



 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Physical stock handling

Understanding the receiving, despatching and inspecting of raw materials, work-in-progress and / or finished goods
Ability to verify that the stock is received correctly in the relevant area (Correct label and quantity).
Competency in moving stock into appropriate bays and using an RF scanner to scan the stock into the correct bay
Ability to perform feeding of Converting Machines with Work-In-Progress Material.
Understand and be competent in operating strapping machines
Ability to check stock vs open purchase orders in ABACA and escalate to Team Leader for discrepancies
Ability to scan and capture stock into relevant systems and clear receiving location (including virtual locations) before end of shift
Ensure paper reels or WIP load is issued to relevant section as required for production.
Ensure product is not damaged during handling, assist with cycle counts and stock takes and report on left behinds and redundant stock.
Conduct relevant quality checks and inspections as required by standard operating procedures.
Unloading and loading trucks as required and according to standard operating procedures.

Safety

Operate the forklift in a safe and responsible manner as set out in Section 43 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 – Driven Machinery Regulations.
