AECI FOOD & BEVERAGE IS HIRING A FORKLIFT DRIVER

Job Description:

Purpose of the job    

•    Moving goods within the plant, palletize and wrap packed product, stack packed product

Required outputs: Functional

•    Select, consolidate and move raw material stock to production plant
•    Move raw materials and finished goods within the plant and the final goods warehouse
•    Load stock onto vehicles and offload vehicles
•    Pull and stack packaging materials, raw materials and finished goods onto pallets

•    Assist in stock counts
•    Perform daily forklift checks and report any deviations
•    Sack and store materials to ensure that housekeeping, demarcated areas  and safety standards are maintained
•    Ensure timeous movement of all items requested
•    Strive towards Zero harm

Qualifications & Experience:

  Matric/ Grade 12 qualification
•    Valid Forklift licence
•    Literacy in English, both orally and in writing
•    Mechanical aptitude 
•    Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) and Food Safety(HACCP)
