Requirements  

– Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4

– Experience in UHT Packaging OH factory advantageous

– Pass Diagnostic competency assessment

– Business English: Fluent

– 2-5yrs relevant experience (FMCG/Food Production) in applying job related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level

– Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities       

Operate, monitor and control allocated downstream packaging equipment and activities on the production line.

– Prepare, start up, monitor & maintain and shutdown packaging equipment within the scope of authority

– Monitor critical parameters and solve problems

– Capture data (control sheets)

– Prepare the work area for maintenance and reinstate after maintenance is complete

– Issue job cards for non-scheduled maintenance

– Complete daily and weekly production maintenance schedules

 

 

– Sample and test packaging quality

– Monitor critical parameters and solve problems

– Capture data (control sheets)

– Maintain safety, health and environmental standards and good manufacturing practices

– Work in a safe manner at all times

– Ensure downstream plant cleanliness

– Adhere to energy saving principles
