COCA COLA IS OFFERING PACKAGING LEARNERSHIP

Job Description

To provide qualifying learners with an opportunity to enroll for a SAQA registered qualification, National Certificate.

This qualification will contribute to the full development of the learner within the food and beverage packaging environment by providing recognition, further mobility and portability within the field of beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods environment.

 


 

LEARNERSHIP

The qualified learner will be exposed to:

  • A structured learning program that combines theoretical training and on-the-job learning in an integrated programme.
  • Bottling processes and procedures
  • Safety and housekeeping standards
  • Quality tests and specifications
  • Beverage handling practices

 


 

Key Duties & Responsibilities   

COMPETENCIES:

  • Self-motivated
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to interact well in teams
  • Ability to work effectively in teams

 


 

Skills, Experience & Education  

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  1. Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy -passed at 40% and SCIENCE at 50%
  2. Must be a South African Citizen
  3. Must be Employment Equity candidate
  4. Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organisation
  5. Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
  6. Must be between 18-35 years of age.
  7. 2 Languagues passed at 40%
  8. N5/N6 in a technical field
