Clover is looking to employ a warehouse team leader to join their Kuruman Distribution Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing subordinates and controlling warehouse processes during a shift, ensuring drivers, van assistants, and vehicles are available at all times.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
- Relevant work experience
- Business English: Fluent
- Shifts/Weekend/Public Holidays
- Working in extreme conditions
- Microsoft Office and Outlook

Duties and Responsibilities
Manage subordinates
- Control time and attendance to reach set goals
- Communicate and motivate team to ensure output targets are met
- Discipline team members, when necessary, as per Clover procedure and policy
- Ensure efficient stock handling/management procedures are executed
- Move, pack, control and maintain stock in Warehouse
- Receive and dispatch stock
- Locate stock
- Maintain warehouse system in terms of dispatching and receiving
- Prevent shrinkage and losses while moving, packing and maintain stock.
- Stock Control
- Manage and control customer uplifts
- Ensure customer invoices allocated to drivers correctly.
- Work with Distribution Team Leader on route planning/ vehicle service scheduling.
Ensure proper housekeeping
- Ensure Warehouse is neat and tidy at all times
- Ensure safe working conditions and report deviations
Provide General Office Administration Support
- Update Driver planning
- Update ad hoc Labour Broker time sheet
- Update “Way better” spread sheet
- Update daily defects from Pre-trip inspection and Post-Trip Inspection forms
- Compile daily, weekly roster for staff operating on Compressed Working Week
- Knowledge on report writing
Administrate leave applications
- Ensure capturing of all leave on PaySpace system
- Ensure all leave is approved on PaySpace system
- Ensure leave captured correlates with Best Time
Vehicle maintenance/availability
- Ensure pre-trip and post-trip inspections are done according to SOP
- Report incidents/accidents/damage on vehicles
- Do follow ups to ensure vehicles are in road worthy condition before they leave the premises
- Daily and weekly vehicle audits
