ELECTRICIANS AT RAND WATER (X4 POSTS) (4 MONTHS FIXED CONTRACT)

Job Advert Summary

The electrician is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of electrical systems within a specific area of responsibility to meet the highest specification standards in and around the worksite.

 

 

Minimum Requirements             

• Grade 12 and N4 Electrical Engineering
• Certified competency as an Electrician – Trade Test and Switching of MV Certificate
• At least 2 years’ electrical experience in role or a similar role

 

 

Primary Duties 

• Conduct daily inspection of Electrical equipment’s under his/her control.
• Ensure that the correct tools are used to complete tasks.
• Ensure that all planned Electrical maintenance schedules are performed timely and accurately.
• Ensure that materials and equipment are available for the shift’s requirements.
• Assist in maintaining instrumentation equipment in area of responsibility.
