Minimum Requirements:
- Appropriate university degree or professional qualification;
- At least 4 years teaching experience in Maths in Grades 6 and 7;
- Current Registration with SACE and police clearance;
- Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching/learning;
- A dynamic, creative personality with strong interpersonal skills;
- A commitment to full participation in the extra-curricular activities of the school;
- Current teaching experience in an ISASA school;
- Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of SAHETI school.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Prepare for, teach and assess beyond the requirements of the CAP’s Document and Requirements;
- Create a classroom atmosphere conducive to healthy, connective and where possible cutting-edge teaching and learning;
- Set, mark and evaluate class work, homework, assessments, examinations and provide regular and meaningful feedback to students/staff/parents;
- Moderate formal assessments, and generating project-based activities
- Monitor, and support pastoral care of pupils.
- Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School.
