FIDELITY IS HIRING AN ARMED SECURITY OFFICER

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Grade C Armed Security Officer to join our security team at a National Key Point. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, personnel and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric certificate
PSIRA Grade C registration and accreditation
At least 2 years’ experience in armed security, preferable in a high-security environment
SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate (Handgun, Shotgun & Rifle for business purpose)
Strong observational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to undergo regular polygraph tests

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client.
Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered.
Monitor and control access points to the facility
Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
Prepare detailed reports on incidents and daily activities
Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures
