Transnet Freight Rail has various Infra Worker, SHE jobs, Flagman and other contract work positions open for application.

Transnet is hiring! The following job opportunities are available on short term contract basis:
Infra Worker x45 posts
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 9 (or 6 months past experience)
- Physically fit
- Health and Safety conscious
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to work in a noisy environment
- Able to work in confined spaces and at heights
Note that the contract for Infra Worker x40 posts goes from 01 October 2024 to 30 November 2024.
In contrast, the contract for Infra Worker x5 posts goes from 01 October 2024 to 31 January 2025.
Flagman x3 posts
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 9 (or 3 months past experience)
- Physically fit
- Able to communicate verbally on in written English
- Able to file reports daily
- Health and Safety conscious
- Must be prepared to work extended hours
- Able to work in a noisy environment
- Able to work in confined spaces and at heights
SHE Level 2 x1 post
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12
- At least 3 years relevant work experience
- SHE Rep certificate
- Basic Fire Fighting
- Computer Literacy – MS Office
- Code 08 Driver’s License
- Report writing

Certified Copy of ID.
Certified copy of school report.
If the above documents are not attached, application will be deemed invalid.
