CBRE Excellerate is looking for a Driver

Position title : DRIVER
Business Unit : PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Main purpose / objective of the position:
The main purpose of this role is to provide efficient and effective driver / shuttle service, and to assist with the effective handling of internal and external mail records.

Decision making authority:

Decision making is limited and specific. None additional to those taught to the incumbent are required to perform the job.

Experience / Education:

Grade 12, or equivalent working experience
At least 2 years relevant driving experience
Light vehicle Driver’s License essential
Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods
Experience within the Facilities Management field is preferable

Skills required:

Driving Skills
Clean driving record
Basic literacy and numeracy
Verbal communication skills

Knowledge required:

Relevant company and client policies and procedures
Traffic and related rules and regulations
Navigation tools and / or map reading
General Health and Safety Regulations

Competencies required:

Initiative, Customer and Quality Focus, Teamwork, Problem-solving

Major drivers of work volume:

Number of mail; Client requests, routes, number of delivery and collection points

Interface / relationships with:

Internal: Onsite FM team, Mailroom team
External: Client, Suppliers, FM team, client employees, Post Office and other mail delivery service providers

Working environment / Special factors:
The incumbent will be based on a client site in an office environment.
The incumbent will spend most of the day driving in order to deliver and collect mail
Normal working hours will apply
