The development of the Kamoa-Kakula copper mining complex in the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC), the Platreef palladium-rhodium-platinum-nickel-copper-gold discovery in South Africa, the extensive redevelopment and upgrading of the historic Kipushi zinc-copper-germanium-silver mine, also in the Democratic Republic of Congo and exploration on the Western Foreland, near Kamoa-Kakula.

To receive and transfer calls and take and deliver messages (Switchboard), update and maintain the Company telephone list, receive visitors and ensure that they are assisted, manage meetings rooms and overseeing of catering requirements and to manage stationery for Head Office. Additionally, managing of service providers who deliver services at Head Office, communicate with coordinator the maintenance issues in the building, general administration (ad hoc), and ordering of access tags of the building.

 

 

You will have the following:

• Matric (Grade 12) with a receptionist certificate
• English(speaking, read and write)
• Switchboard operations
• Computer literacy (proficient in Microsoft)
• Proven work experience as a receptionist or similar position for at least 3-5 years

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to: 

• Greet and welcome guest as soon as they arrive at the office
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
• Receive , sort and distribute daily deliveries (couriers etc.)
• Order front office supplies and keep inventory
• Update calendar and schedule meetings
• Perform other critical administrative duties e.g. filing, coping and binding.
