SERVEST IS HIRING A WAREHOUSE PICKER/PACKER

Job Context:

Servest Office Services, a division of the Servest Group has an open vacancy for a Warehouse Picker / Packer. This position is responsible for the packing and counting of the stock at the warehouse. The position is based at the Midrand office and report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent
• Relevant Qualification:
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
• Attention to detail
• Good communication and organising skills
• Computer skills

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Preparing and packing orders for shipment.
• Check damages and report to the Warehouse Manager.
• Handle pick tickets/orders from Warehouse management/staff to pull items from warehouse inventory.
• Compare and inspect physical items pulled to the requirements of the picking slip.

 

 

• Pack/wrap orders as required by item/delivery type, and prepares for shipment.
• Ensure that orders are staged correctly for each delivery.
• Participate in conducting warehouse inventory counts as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
