Rand Water is hiring Protective Services Officer X4

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Rand Water is looking for candidate to provide professional, quality protective service to Central depot Station and its satellite pumping stations in compliance with the National Key Point Act (Act No.102 of 1980) company policies and localised site procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12.
2 years security related experience.
PSIRA Grade C registration.
Knowledge of and adherence to legislation and company policy.
Firearm competency (Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun).
Driver’s license Code 8.
National Key Point Certificate.
Dog handling qualification.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Protect Rand Water’s people, property and assets in accordance to current legislation.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

National key Point Act ( Critical Infrastructure) and other relevant legislations.
Patrolling and Guarding.
Communication ( verbal and written).
Strong Observation skills.
Administrative skills.
Good interpersonal skills.

Customer Services orientation.
Attention to detail.
Results driven.
