CLOVER IS HIRING DELIVERY DRIVERS

An opportunity has arisen for Driver: Delivery Code 10 to deliver product to customers in accordance with Clover policy and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Code 10 motor vehicle license
• Travel off-site/overnight stay
• Work in confined spaces

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive delivery vehicle        

• Comply to road traffic act (AARTO)
• Comply with Clover driver standard procedures
• Maintain vehicle housekeeping
• Conduct Pre and Post Trip inspections, report deviations, accidents, damage, malfunction.
• Adhere to route plan
• Adhere to logging procedure at back door

Deliver Stock   

• Maintain stock integrity
• Deliver product according to invoice in accordance with customer specifications
• Deliver stock at prescribed temperature
• Control containers (pallets and crates)
• Collect and secure cash
• Adhere to stock recheck procedure when required

Return Stock       

• Pick up authorized product
• Maintain cold chain
• Adhere to Principal return standards
• Separate good from bad stock returns

Perform administrative duties:

• Verify all invoices and uplifts prior to departure
• Ensure return of all route documents (invoice, pallet slip, return authorization, customer claim)
• Ensure full POD (signed and accepted)
• Ensure document modification done where applicable
• Ensure returns, banking and handing in of documents are done according to procedure

Supervise subordinates and safety aspects

• Comply and adhere to safety rules and regulations
