DRIVER POSITION AVAILABLE AT LOGISTICS, WAREHOUSE & FREIGHT (40 FOUR POINT 0)

Electronic company is looking for a responsible Driver to join their operations team.

Ensure that customer deliveries and collections are transported in a safe and secure manner and delivered on time and in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that the delivery schedule is collected from the Dispatch Lead every morning before loading the vehicle.
Check each collection number displayed on the delivery schedule in accordance with the sticker on the parcel.
Ensure that the step above is repeated and rechecked by security or the dispatch supervisor.
Ensure you take special note of urgent commentary on the driver’s log to effectively plan delivery route.

Ensure that customers sign for good/parcels on handheld device and any discrepancies loaded under the comments section on the handheld device. Notify Dispatch Supervisor of any discrepancies.
Ensure that all RMA’s are discussed with the Dispatch Lead.
Ensure that care is taken with the delivery vehicle and that the rules of the road are respected and followed at all times.
Report any accident/damages to the vehicle or stock to the Dispatch Lead immediately.
