FLYSAFAIR IS RECRUITING GENERAL WORKERS

Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, has a vacancy for a General Labourer at our head office in Bonaero Park.  The successful applicantwill report to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform basic maintenance tasks like general cleaning, painting, carpentry, plumbing etc. as directed by the Supervisor or Manager;
• Cleaning the facility and managing maintenance repairs;
• Neat and orderly organise, including cleaning the refuse area and skips;
• Detect and report the need for maintenance where necessary;
• Maintain the cleanliness of common area and outside spaces such as parking lots, sidewalks and garden, general weed control and applying of herbicide;
• Perform any other functions related to maintenance, repairs, installation, and construction as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric;
• Good knowledge of Plumbing;
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment;
• Good understanding of maintenance works;
• Detail orientated with an aptitude for problem solving;
• Previous construction/ maintenance experience would be advantageous;
• Must have a valid Driver’s licence;
• Quality focused;

• Numerate with written and verbal communication skills;
• Immaculate timekeeping.
