The General Assistant will provide operational support within a pharmaceutical production environment. The position involves preparing and cleaning work areas, checking equipment, handling raw materials, supporting production activities and completing production-related records.

General Assistant Duties

The successful candidates will be responsible for a variety of production support tasks, including:

• Preparing and cleaning production areas and equipment.
• Performing visual inspections of production areas and equipment.
• Conducting pre-production environmental, scale and equipment checks.
• Verifying the performance of scales and measuring equipment.
• Dispensing, transferring, weighing and collecting raw materials.
• Staging materials for production.
• Setting up rooms and IBCs for production activities.

Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following:

• National Certification (N3)
• Matric

Candidates should have 0–2 years of related experience. Previous manufacturing experience will be an advantage.
