The ideal candidate should be energetic, motivated and passionate about providing customers with an excellent shopping experience.
The Sales Assistant will be responsible for welcoming customers and assisting them throughout their shopping experience.
Employees are expected to acknowledge customers promptly, establish their needs and use product knowledge to explain the benefits of different products.
The role also involves closing sales and identifying opportunities for additional sales. Sales Assistants will monitor their individual sales performance and work towards their daily targets.
Building relationships with customers is another important part of the role, with the aim of encouraging customers to return and become loyal Crocs customers.
The successful candidate will also assist with stock and inventory activities.
Responsibilities include replenishing footwear, apparel and accessories from the storeroom, ensuring accurate stock entries on the POS system and helping to minimise stock losses.
Employees may also process deliveries by checking quantities, tagging and pricing products, recording items on the POS system and ensuring merchandise is properly prepared for the sales floor.
Customer orders may also need to be processed when required.
Maintaining a clean and organised store is an important part of the position.
Sales Assistants will assist with housekeeping, including keeping counters and change rooms tidy, cleaning mirrors, dusting, vacuuming and removing bins.
Employees may also assist managers with opening and closing the store.
Merchandising responsibilities include maintaining product presentation according to Crocs standards, replenishing sizes and assisting with window and mannequin changes.
Crocs places emphasis on employee development. Successful candidates will receive training and are expected to take responsibility for learning the role.
Employees may be allocated a buddy during their initial period and will be expected to participate in training sessions and complete assessments.
Regular feedback and discussions with the store manager will also help employees track their progress and development.
