The Nurture Health Group is inviting applications for a General Worker position at Aurora. This is a permanent entry-level opportunity for a dependable and service-oriented person who can support the day-to-day operations of a rehabilitation hospital.
The successful candidate will report to the Nursing Manager and play an important role in helping maintain a safe, functional and supportive environment for patients, families and hospital staff.
The General Worker position is based within Nurture Health’s Aurora rehabilitation hospital. The role involves general maintenance support, operational assistance and collaboration with different teams within the healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out assigned duties in line with the organisation’s policies, processes and systems.

The ideal candidate should be dependable, accountable and comfortable working as part of a team. Practical problem-solving skills are important, as the successful candidate will need to deal with daily operational requirements and complete tasks independently when necessary.
The General Worker will assist with various duties designed to support the smooth operation of the rehabilitation hospital.
Responsibilities include carrying out general maintenance and operational support duties according to Nurture Health policies and procedures.
The employee will also help maintain a safe hospital environment, which is particularly important in a rehabilitation and healthcare setting.
Driving and operational support may also be required. The successful candidate will need to provide feedback and reports regarding daily activities and outcomes.
The role also involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams and other stakeholders. Employees are expected to share relevant information and contribute positively to the wider hospital team.
