About the Role

As a Call Centre Agent, your main responsibility will be to communicate with customers, resolve complaints, and generate sales through telephonic interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls and responding to customer queries and complaints
  • Making outbound calls to generate sales and promote products
  • Following up on outstanding orders and confirming delivery times
  • Processing customer orders accurately
  • Conducting pricing checks and resolving order discrepancies
  • Upselling products through telesales and promotional campaigns
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and sales data
  • Identifying and reporting merchandising or service issues
  • Communicating with customers about delays or changes via phone or SMS
  • Escalating issues such as price exceptions or on-hold orders to management

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this Call Centre Agent position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A relevant sales qualification will be an added advantage

Experience Required

Candidates should have:

  • 1–2 years of experience working with customers
  • 1–2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel
  • 1–2 years of experience in a call centre or telesales environment

Previous experience in handling high volumes of customer interactions will be beneficial.
