Picker and Packer

Description

AFGRI Equipment is seeking a reliable and disciplined Picker and Packer to join our Equipment branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing stock, assisting with stock control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• A valid driver’s licence

 

 

Key Performance Areas

• Accurately pick parts stock according to picking slips and prepare for dispatch.
• Pack parts stock according to company policy and ensure correct labelling.
• Assist with stocktaking, stock counting, replenishment, and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Transport parts to and from designated locations as required.

 

Technical Competencies

• Ability to read and write
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office)

 

 

Behavioural Competencies

• Strong identification with company values and management
• Disciplined and punctual
• Hardworking and reliable
