DRIVER / GENERAL ASSISTANT AT MR PRICE STORE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver/General Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing transportation services and performing various general assistance tasks to support the smooth operation of our organization.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely transport personnel and goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the company vehicle.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and arrange vehicle repairs and maintenance needs.
• Keep mileage and repair records up to date.
• Support office operations by performing general administrative tasks as needed.

 

 

 

• Collect and deliver samples as required
• Assist with setting up and organizing events and meetings.
• Handle errands and other tasks as assigned by management
• Maintain an inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed.
• Provide hands-on support on a daily basis.
• Perform any other administrative or filing duties required within the office
• Any other similar admin duties as required by the business.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record & a PDP
• Atleast 2 years experience as a driver or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and takes initiative.
• Ability to work flexible shifts depending on transport needs.
