NECSA IS HIRING DECONTAMINATION WORKERS (X3 POSTS)

Job Profile:

To operate tasks relating to the decontamination of NTP facilities and equipment’s.

Key Performance Areas

Key Performance Areas
Routine Decontamination
Decontamination/cleaning of the facility.
Decontamination of Equipment before production (Daleen, Padraic Tables, sliding doors and inter cell trolley)
Decontamination of Vehicles (Only back of Vehicles)
Ensure Deep Cleaning is performed on a monthly basis.
Storage Area and Ad hoc Decontamination
Perform any ad hoc decontamination.
Ensure that Consumables are always available at working station.
Ensure equipment are properly stored in designated Areas.
Housekeeping.
Ensure that housekeeping is maintained (Routine Cleaning Schedule)
Ensure that faults identified during routine facility inspections are eliminated.
Waste removal to relevant designated areas.
Lebo Observations (100%), DIR and TIIR.

Job Requirements

Key Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge and understanding of:
Radiation Worker course
Decontamination course
Noise course
Chemical Worker course
Crane Licence
Half face masks.
Firefighting course
Working in elevated heights Course
Forklift Licence
GMP course
Work Permit

Competencies (Job Specific and Behavioural)

Knowledge of ALARA
Knowledge of THA (Tasks hazard Assessment
Knowledge of Waste packaging
Knowledge of safety culture
Fully understanding of Operating Equipment that area use (Scrubbing, Vacuum and high pressure)

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.

Minimum experience

Three (3) years of experience in decontamination work, hygiene, and cleaning facilities.
In-house training on the job.
