REQUIREMENTS:
- Std 10/Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Holding a valid driving license for FLT‘s
- Basic computer skills will be advantageous
- Able to lift up to 25 kg
- Must have flexible work availability
- Able to operate forklift and crane
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for receiving, stocking and shipping the product
- Prepare finished products for customer shipments
- Adhere to performance standards in quality and quantity (checking for damages as well as count)
- Follow warehouse and shipping procedures • Record and store finished goods in the warehouse
- Handle and record defected products from receipt to storage and then to production
- Ensure good housekeeping within the warehouse
- Ensure safe environment / procedures and prevent accidents (target zero accidents)
- Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
- Ensure ongoing awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
- Ensure housekeeping and general areas facilitates a tidy, neat environment
