Job Advert Summary

Our Megabus – Crown Mines depot requires a Stores Assistant – to perform general stores assistant and administrative duties. In addition the stores assistant will also issue special tools and assist in the picking up of spares in the store – and ensure that the stores is kept clean and tidy at all time. The stores assistant must be able to perform his/her generic duties relating to the company code of coduct, policies and procedures as well as perform duties requested from management.

 

 

Minimum Requirements 

• Grade 12,
• Computer literate,
• Good attention to detail,
• Good written and verbal skills,
• Able to perfom physical tasks,
• Perform administrative duties,

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities            

• Must be computer literate
• Must have administrative experience,
• Under direct supervision – responsible for the physical movement and storage of goods received or despatched,
• Assists with updating of stock records on issue and receipts of goods,
• Assists the storeman with updating of stocktaking,
• Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the store
• Will issue special tools and assist with issuing/collecting of spares in the store,
• Previous stores experience would be advantageous,
• Be willing to work flexible hours,
• Be able to work under pressure.
