Responsible to assist with all general functions to ensure that the S&V1 department reach their production target.

 

 

Requirements:

• Grade 10-12
• 2-3 years’ working experience of the functioning of S&V1 department.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse functioning.
• Physically fit and be able to work on your feet for long hours.
• Be able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Be prepared to work overtime and shifts when required to do so.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

1. General duties:

• Puts bales on the tables.
• Weigh the bales and write on the bag the weight.
• Ensure that you take the correct lot to the tables for the sorters.
• After sorting write down on the worksheet internal reference number, bale number and the weight of each sorter.
• Give the information to the supervisor.
• Effective transportation of wool.

 

 

1. Perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by the supervisor or management in the plant.
2. Adhere to the rules and regulations of health and safety.
3. Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards.
4. Maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
