Description:

Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties – both for commercial and home garden planting. The following position has become available for a Picker Packer, based in Kempton Park.

 

 

The purpose of this role is to pick stock and make up customer orders as per customer invoice and prepare same for dispatch as per customer requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picks products and makes up orders as per customer order and transfers them to the holding area for checking.
• Ensures that correct seed reference numbers are picked and report all incorrect reference numbers to the Stock Controller.
• Advises Stock Controller if certain items are out of stock and awaits further instructions.
• Assists fellow workers with execution of tasks whenever own responsibilities have been executed and completed.

 

 

• Ensures that work area/s are neat, tidy, organised and clean at all times.
• Assists with and adheres to security measures to ensure the safety of products, assets and facility
• Assists with the bi-annual as well as ad hoc stock counts/checks as per Stock Controller instruction.

 

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate
