Job Description

Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore.

The successful applicant will report to the Maintenance Planner or nominee.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12/ Standard 10 Certificate.

 

EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):

• 1 year practical Data Capturer experience.
• 6 months practical experience in Mining/Engineering environment.
• 6 months practical experience in Clerical / Administrative experience.

 

DUTIES (including but not limited to):

• To provide effective and efficient technical and administrative support to the Engineering Department to contribute towards the achievement of engineering objectives.
• Update the Leave roster for own department and verify leave applications against it.
• Ensure that section’s general administration and filing are done.
• General printing and copying duties.

 

• Raise requisitions for material and spares.
• Assist colleagues and team members with variety of tasks when requested and instructed.
• Assistance is provided to co-workers and as instructed by supervisor when required.
• Ensures instructions are understood before commencing with tasks.
• Verify the accuracy of signed-off work orders, ensure timeous and accurate system feedback, and hard copy archiving of statutory – and required documentation in order to ensure data integrity.
• Maintenance schedule, plan and report.

 

• Capturing, registering, and auditing of PTOs.
• Updating of information and safe keeping of all company vehicles information.
• Generation of report, e.g., availability and cost reports.
• Performs auditing functions of all Legal Documentation in Safe.
• Process audit sheet on JDE and submit for signature and filing as appropriate.
• Compile approved weekend overtime with information from Supervisors.
• Generation of legal inspections (job cards).
