Somerset House is a 76-year-old school situated in the heart of Somerset West. It is home to 430 children and is viewed as being an innovative and exciting place to teach and learn. Space is given to staff to develop teaching methodologies which make sense and challenge the norm

 

 

Requirements:

• Suitable professional qualification ( Level 4) and appropriate educational experience.
• Proof of SACE registration.
• Police, Sexual Offenders Register and Child Protection Act clearances.
• Proficient in the English language.

 

 

 

• An innovative, creative, child-centred and passionate approach to assistance in the classroom.
• Capable use of technology (computer literate).
• Willingness to assist with Morning care / Aftercare where required.
• Excellent inter-personal skills as part of a dynamic team of committed teachers.
