AVBOB IS HIRING A DRIVER

Description:

We are looking for a punctual candidate with good time management skills for the position of a driver.

You will be working for a last standing company with strong values which are customer centric. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Deliver and collect parcels /mail to/from the post office, life offices or any other destination as required.
Deliver packages on time.
Collecting mail as and when required, both incoming and outgoing.
Keep motor vehicle clean and tidy.
Record all kilometres per trip on the trip sheet.
Ensure motor vehicle always have enough fuel.
Report any repairs and maintenance that is required.
Inform the Head: Service Administration when the license disc require to be renewed.
Report any accidents to the Head: Service Administration.

Open a case at the Police when involved in an accident.
Complete the necessary claim forms and submit to the Short Term Insurance Clerk.
Always wear your uniform.
Ensure that you are familiar with the geographical areas where parcels need to be delivered and collected.
Obtain Authorisation from the Head to deliver motor vehicle for service to an authorised dealer.
Keep and update the logbook.

When not required for any deliveries, the messenger will be required to assist with any ad hoc duties as required within the department.

Will be used to go and buy items for various departments as and when required.
Perform additional duties as and when requested and assigned by Department Head: Service Administration and Head.
