Permanent – Dispatch Assistant/Picker/Packer Vacancy

Unique Personnel is inviting applications for the vacant post of Dispatch Assistant/Picker/Packer.

 

 

Job Description:

• Packing of goods
• Loading onto and off of trucks
• Receiving and dispatching all materials
• Checking stock on hand on all materials
• Responsible for all receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods and pellets as well as delivering goods from the store
• Affixing waybills to consignments, parcels, and all other articles leaving the stores

 

 

 

• Assembling boxes
• Carrying and/or moving of goods
• Collecting of cash in the case of COD sale or accepting written orders
• Delivering or conveying letters, parcels messages or goods and documentation
• Packing and removing goods from racks or shelves
• General shop keep of stores and factory area

 

 

 

• Marking or stenciling of goods
• Opening or closing of roll up shutter and normal doors, windows, boxes or other packages
• Any other lawful and reasonable instruction
• Responsible for assisting in drawing up the driver schedule and loading all scheduled deliveries on the delivery vehicle
• Preparing and organizing all delivery notes for the driver daily and account for all when driver returns
• Assisting with general stock take afterhours when needed
