Job Description:

Our client is looking for a dual role candidate who will be responsible for deliveries and assisting with stock management in the warehouse. The applicant must portray upmost honesty and integrity and a clear communication channel with the warehouse supervisor and manager.

 

 

Driver:

• Have a valid code B drivers license and maintain validity
• Have a charged/working phone at all times so the factory can contact the driver and the driver can use maps for unfamiliar routes
• Ensure stock for deliveries are:
  • Packed in the correct groupings per customer
  • Expiry dates are within acceptable range
  • Stock is packed neatly to avoid damage during transit

 

 

 

• Plan delivery routes for each day
• Give friendly and efficient service at every deliver to the receiving party
• Obey all road regulations and drive with care
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness

 

 

Stock Controller (When not on the road):

• Receive stock
• Ensure smooth rotation of stock in the warehouse monitoring expiry dates
• Ensure stock shelves are neatly packed in correct locations and clean
• Picking of stock for deliveries
• Assisting the warehouse supervisor where needed or as required

 

 

Salary: R7 500 per month
