Job Title: Driver (Light Vehicle) – Roodepoort Multifranchise

Job Description:

Roodepoort Multifranchise currently holds a vacancy for a Driver (Light Duty).

This position will be suited to an experienced person who has the ability to plan his/her day. The candidate needs to provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis.

 


Specific Role Responsibilities:

Specifications for these positions will be discussed if a candidate is invited for an interview.

 


The responsibilities of a Driver include the following tasks:

  • Responsible for accurate collections and deliveries of parts.
  • Responsible driving whilst collecting and delivering parts (i.e. obeying traffic and road safety regulations etc.).
  • The vehicle is cleaned, fuelled, and in a roadworthy condition at all times.
  • Vehicle services are booked and carried out; the logbook is accurately updated (i.e. km’s).

 

  • Vehicle licensing is renewed annually and all vehicle incidents (i.e. traffic fines, breakdowns, etc.) are reported timeously.
  • The vehicle is checked for damage, defects, missing parts, spare wheel, and spanners, and report discrepancies to management.
  • Do all other reasonable duties required by the department.
  • Work overtime as reasonably requested.

 


Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience needed:

  • Matric
  • Driver Experience with in the Motor trade advantageous

 


 

 

Skills and Personal Attributes:

Minimum requirement:

  • Computer literate
  • Good computer skills
  • Multi-tasking ability
  • Valid Driver’s License with no endorsements
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong admin management skills
